Who we are
This website, justlaweducation.com, is operated by Just Education Coaching Limited, trading as Just Law Education, of 17A, Hart House, 12-14 Hart Avenue, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Just Law Education. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.
What we collect
We collect only what we need. If you sign up for our free checklist or updates, we collect your email address and any name you provide. If you contact us by email or telephone, we collect the details you choose to share so that we can reply. When you book and pay a deposit, payment is handled by Stripe; we do not see or store your full card details. We also collect anonymous information about how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed and general location, through analytics.
How we use your data
We use your data to send you the resource or updates you asked for, to answer your enquiries, to provide and administer our services and bookings, and to understand and improve how the site is used. We do not sell your personal data.
The tools we use
We use a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf: MailerLite for sending email and managing sign ups, Stripe for processing payments, and Google Analytics for anonymous usage statistics. Each has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.
Cookies
The site uses cookies and similar technology for analytics, to understand how the site is used. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies will not stop you using the site.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law, and then delete it. You can ask us to remove your details at any time, and every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
Your rights
Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, and to ask us to stop using it or delete it. To make any of these requests, contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
